Steve offers particular expertise in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, database design, and software architecture, not to mention years spent honing skills in Java EE and .NET.
Steve is passionate about using technology to deliver killer web applications and user experiences. He has more than 8 years of experience building enterprise web applications for a wide variety of corporate, non-profit, and government clients. While at Threespot clients included Zipcar, Starwood Hotels, World Bank Compliance Advisor Ombudsman, SEIU, Pew Internet and American Life Project and Washington Speakers Bureau.
Prior to joining Threespot, Steve was a Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where he worked on a large team to develop an enterprise Jave EE web application that was integral to the Department of Homeland Security's mission. Previously, as Lead Developer at Northrop Grumman he managed a team of junior developers to support division-wide intranet needs.
Steve received his Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering with University Honors Citation and was a Banneker-Key Scholar of the University of Maryland. Meantime, in his between time, he is a habitual snowboarder, cyclist, sneaker junkie, user experience nut, loser art enthusiast, and can strum a mean guitar. Try me!
